This is an interview by Roland Matthies for the Clark County Historical Society on November 5, 1996–election day–and the interviewee is Pat Brown who is the tour director of the Elderly United organization here in Springfield. I’ve had the pleasure of being on tours with this young lady, and she has quickly won the admiration of myself and my wife Maxine. The idea is to find out what kind of work she has to do, for whom she does it, and what in the business world this kind of activity means to people and the community of Clark County.
